Hypnotic Guided Imagery

Our Research

Hypnotic Guided Imagery (HGI) is a hypnotherapy method supported by instruments that detect changes in energy levels, transitioning from negative to positive, with the aim of promoting the restoration of mental and physical well-being.

The HGI Research Group is an outcome of collaborative efforts involving the Psychology, Medicine, and Engineering Physics faculties at UGM. It also engages in partnerships with multiple universities across Indonesia.

This research has received funding from RISPRO LPDP to support technology development, with the aspiration of creating measuring instruments that can undergo development, standardization, and certification processes before they can eventually be brought to the commercial market.
